Bien que ses parents aient eu 7 enfants, seuls Florence et deux jeunes fr\u00e8res (Lorenzo et Ren\u00e9) ont v\u00e9cu jusqu&#039;\u00e0 l&#039;\u00e2ge adulte. Grand-m\u00e8re Beauchamp, ses parents et ses fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs sont tous demeur\u00e9s en Ontario de leur vivant. Ils ont pass\u00e9 de nombreuses ann\u00e9es \u00e0 vivre dans une ferme pr\u00e8s de Timmins, en Ontario. Ma m\u00e8re (a\u00een\u00e9e de Florence) a pris le train pour rendre visite \u00e0 sa m\u00e8re et \u00e0 ses grands-parents \u00e0 plusieurs reprises dans les ann\u00e9es 1950 et au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1960. Elle amenait toujours au moins l&#039;un d&#039;entre nous (ses enfants) voir grand-m\u00e8re Beauchamp. Je n&#039;avais que 3 ou 4 ans quand j&#039;ai rencontr\u00e9 ma grand-m\u00e8re Florence et donc je n&#039;ai pas vraiment de souvenir d&#039;elle. Grand-m\u00e8re Beauchamp ne s&#039;est jamais rendue dans l&#039;Ouest canadien pour rendre visite \u00e0 ses enfants ou petits-enfants.<br \/>Mes grands-parents Florence Beauchamp et Albert Dallaire se sont s\u00e9par\u00e9s (le divorce n&#039;\u00e9tait pas courant \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque) vers 1940. Mon grand-p\u00e8re Dallaire a \u00e9lev\u00e9 ses 3 enfants, maman, oncle Norm et oncle Ernie. C&#039;\u00e9tait tr\u00e8s inhabituel et le myst\u00e8re de ma grand-m\u00e8re demeure \u00e0 ce jour.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section Beauchamp<\/strong> est n\u00e9 en 1644 \u00e0 La Rochelle, en France. Il \u00e9tait le deuxi\u00e8me plus jeune de 10 enfants. Bien que cinq des fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs Beauchamp (Jacques, Jean, Lucas, Marie et Pierre) aient migr\u00e9 de France vers la Nouvelle-France, les documents historiques ne sont facilement disponibles que pour Jacques Le Grand Beauchamp et Jean Le Petit Beauchamp. Les surnoms Grand et Petit d\u00e9signent les fr\u00e8res a\u00een\u00e9s et cadets. Le premier enregistrement officiel de Jean Beauchamp en Nouvelle-France est son mariage avec Jeanne Loisel en 1666. Jeanne Loisel \u00e9tait tout un pi\u00e8ge pour Jean, car elle \u00e9tait l&#039;une des premi\u00e8res \u00e9l\u00e8ves de Marguerite Bourgeoys, la premi\u00e8re enseignante \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (Marguerite a fond\u00e9 la Congr\u00e9gation de Notre-Dame). Marguerite aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s protectrice envers son \u00e9l\u00e8ve (son nom est inscrit sur le contrat de mariage) et il est donc probable que Jean avait une tr\u00e8s bonne r\u00e9putation et s&#039;\u00e9tait \u00e9tabli au sein de la communaut\u00e9 avant leur mariage. Amboise se trouve dans le centre de la vall\u00e9e de la Loire en France. Elle est devenue orpheline tr\u00e8s jeune. Elle \u00e9tait une servante engag\u00e9e lorsqu&#039;elle arriva en Nouvelle-France en 1680. En 1684, elle \u00e9pousa Antoine Monet et ils eurent quatre enfants. Elle a v\u00e9cu jusqu&#039;\u00e0 l&#039;\u00e2ge de 83 ans, ce qui \u00e9tait une tr\u00e8s longue vie \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9poque. Fran\u00e7oise Hurteau est ma 9<sup>e<\/sup> arri\u00e8re grand-m\u00e8re
